Watercolour Peafowl Painting

As the title mentions, this is a watercolour peafowl painting. I recently pinpointed a half-finished watercolour peafowl, so I decided to finally complete the job. One of my favourite watercolour paint brush brands is Royal & Langnickel, and that’s precisely what I used in this painting. I had a great deal of fun painting the background especially. I hope you relish it!

This is totally irrelevant, but it’s finally the school holidays! (After all those weeks of hardship at school) hooray me.

Should Animals in Zoos stay in Captivity all their lives?

THE POOR ANIMALS being born in an enclosure and living in it for all their lives, why wouldn’t it want to escape into the wilderness? I obviously agree that, for the safety of the animals’ mental health, animals born into a zoo enclosure for captivity should later be set free so that they can actually experience the dangers of the wild, and be athletic and not gradually turn into a lazy slouch of an animal.

Do you enjoy Athletic Sports Day?

THE smells, shouting, excitement and tension in the air on my schools’ “Athletic Sorts Day” is overwhelming; mostly to the students actually participating on the day. The clothes worn are usually green, yellow or purple shirts; the female students wear skorts; which are shorts mixed with skirts; and the male students wear regular T-shirts and shorts with sport shoes or running shoes.
